Nuova Simonelli’s “Oscar II” espresso machine is the embodiment of a “restyled classic.” As the next generation of the original “Oscar” line, (launched in the late nineties and beloved by coffee enthusiasts around the world), the Oscar II, much like its predecessor, has been crafted around the idea of bringing professional quality espresso, into the home environment. As such, it is available in two versions: with direct attachment for connection to the available water supply, or with a reservoir tank, lending the Oscar II the wonderful convenience of a “plug-and-play” option.
In addition to the restyling of the sleek and durable new Stainless Steel/ ABS body, the Oscar II features a number of exciting new attributes that push the limits of what an affordable home espresso machine can do. Included in Nuova Simonelli’s latest version of the Oscar II, are: an ergonomic steam lever, timed dosage, and a significantly improved steam-wand. Balancing innovation with time-honored practicality, “under the hood,” the Oscar II maintains its original professional-sized group head and copper boiler. Sometimes, the best solution is to not change something that is already perfect!

The temperature stability of Oscar II is ensured by the heat exchanger system inside the boiler, which also guarantees high steam capacity for creamy and fragrant cappuccinos. Timer programming contributes to ensuring such dependable results.

Nuova Simonelli’s Oscar II is a high-performance machine, which utilizes professional-grade components such as the filter holder, the thermo-compensated group and the high productivity steam wand. Technical and ergonomic features simplify its use and efficiency, as with the “push and pull” steam lever and the soft-touch backlit control panel.
